Acid Overflow

Infiltrate the chemical plant, and make the deadly acids overflow to the top!

NOTE: THERE IS NO IN-GAME TUTORIAL, DESCRIPTION IMPORTANT

Use A/D to move left and right, W/Space to jump, and S to fastfall. Holding the jump button will give you a higher jump.

Orange and blue nodes can be clicked when in-range. Blue nodes will grapple you to them, and the grapple will be released when you release left click. Orange nodes will explode when clicked while in range, launching you in the opposite direction.

Purple buttons open acid gates, which increases the rate that the deadly acid will rise. This may seem like a bad thing, but there are several emergency overflow gates that will only allow passage once the acid has risen to a sufficient height. So, only pressing a few purple buttons is safer, but opening a lot of them will lead to a better time.

The game will keep track of your fastest time through the level. You can also use R to reset, and ESC to exit.

Get to the top of the level, and get into your escape pod, then leave as fast as possible!

I'm gonna be perfectly honest, not super proud of this one, but I only decided I wanted to jump into the jam in the last day, and I've gotta get to sleep early for work, so I really only had 6 hours or so to work on this. No sound effects, lots of jank and shoddy code, questionable design decisions, and a short level, but eh, I'm just happy I was able to throw something together. Hope you enjoy it! ^^
